Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
3–5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably within the multifamily or broader real estate industry.
Experience with RealPage could be preferred.
Working knowledge of GAAP and standard month-end close procedures.
Familiarity with HUD Surplus Cash Calculations.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
CPA licensure, or progress toward licensure, is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Prepare journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations for monthly close.
Prepare property-level financial statements and conduct variance analysis vs budgets.
Review AP/AR postings and resolve discrepancies with property staff.
Support annual budgets and reforecasts under Controller guidance.
Assist in owner distributions and investor reporting materials.
Maintain RealPage data integrity, COA, and reporting templates.
Provide guidance and review for property accountants and AP/AR staff.
Support audits, lender reporting, and property tax filings.
