F1 Mechanical is seeking a Plumbing Estimator in Charlotte, NC to prepare comprehensive estimates for multifamily new construction projects. The role requires evaluating opportunities, developing budgets, conducting detailed takeoffs, and soliciting pricing from vendors and subcontractors.

The ideal candidate will understand multifamily plumbing systems, read complex construction documents, and develop competitive, executable estimates for projects ranging from garden-style to high-rise

Qualifications

• 3+ years of plumbing estimating or related construction experience.
• Strong understanding of commercial or multifamily plumbing systems.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, civil, and plumbing documents.
• Develop labor and material estimates with detailed accuracy.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and takeoff workflows.

Responsabilités

• Prepare detailed plumbing estimates for multifamily new construction projects.
• Perform quantity takeoffs from architectural, plumbing, civil and applicable MEP construction documents.
• Develop material, labor, equipment, subcontractor, and other project costs.
• Review drawings, specs, addenda, and bid documents for inconsistencies.
• Solicit competitive pricing from vendors and subcontractors.
• Coordinate with project teams and bid negotiations.
