Fairstead ESC LLC seeks a Maintenance Technician to maintain day-to-day property operations and safeguard physical assets. You will inspect buildings, perform preventative maintenance, and ensure safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Mechanical skills to handle minor repairs and fixtures.
• Knowledge of electricity to diagnose electrical problems and carry out minor repairs.
• General maintenance skills and reliability.
• Strong verbal and written communication for effective information delivery.
• Prior experience as a Service Technician or similar role preferred.
• HVAC, CMRP, or equivalent certification is a plus.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Ability to lift up to 70 pounds without assistance.
• Dexterity and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Inspect buildings and equipment regularly for needed repairs and improvements.
• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on the property as needed.
• Implement maintenance policies and standards to prevent misuse of property appliances.
• Ensure properties are safe for occupants, visitors, and workers.
• Clean and prepare vacated buildings for new occupants.
• Check electrical wiring for accuracy and compliance with standards.
• Check safety systems and devices for monthly operation.
• Participate in on-call rotation; respond to emergency maintenance outside normal hours.
• Maintain inventory of supplies, tools, and equipment.
