Job summary

Z Modular at Zekelman Industries seeks a Community Maintenance Technician to support the FLATZ 830 community in Marble Falls, TX. You’ll help maintain safety, functionality, and appearance for residents and staff.

Day-to-day duties include completing service requests, preventive maintenance, and basic HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting tasks. You’ll collaborate with property management, respond to on-call emergencies, document work orders, and uphold our service standards.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of general maintenance experience.
• HVAC/plumbing/electrical certifications preferred.
• EPA Type II/Universal HVAC certification preferred or obtained within 90 days.
• Certified Pool Operator (CPO) preferred or obtained within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Assist with completing make-ready units per Z Modular standards.
• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, appliances, plumbing, and electrical systems.
• Perform minor carpentry, drywall repairs, and painting.
• Respond to resident service and maintenance requests.
• Re-key locks and cut keys as needed.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance of property equipment.
