Job summary

Bradley Company is seeking a Maintenance Technician to deliver prompt and professional maintenance services across our multifamily residential portfolio in the Elkhart area. You’ll handle service requests, perform skilled repairs, and prepare turnover units while upholding high standards of care and responsiveness.

You will work with property managers and residents to ensure a positive living environment, participate in on‑call rotations, and help maintain safety and appearance across properties

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years of hands‑on maintenance experience in multifamily or residential property management preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record required.

Responsibilities

• Complete all assigned maintenance service requests and turnover work orders efficiently and professionally.
• Perform repairs including plumbing, electrical, HVAC troubleshooting, appliance repairs, carpentry, and general maintenance tasks.
• Conduct move‑in/move‑out inspections to property standards.
• Identify issues, determine necessary repairs, and complete work using proper tools and techniques.
• Maintain clean, organized work areas and tidy job sites after tasks.
• Support preventative maintenance for mechanical systems and equipment.
• Participate in rotating on‑call schedule for after‑hours maintenance needs.
• Monitor property grounds for safety hazards, code violations, and curb appeal tasks.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing resident concerns promptly and courteously.
• Collaborate with property managers to understand priorities and ensure timely completion of tasks.
• Represent the company professionally with residents, vendors, and team members.
