Job summary

Venterra Realty is seeking a Maintenance Manager for Trevesta Place Apartments in New York. You will oversee property maintenance, manage service tickets, inspections, repairs, and preventive maintenance, and lead a maintenance team to ensure resident satisfaction and safety.

You will mentor technicians, coordinate with vendors, monitor budgets, and ensure compliance with OSHA and safety regulations while supporting on-call coverage and capital projects.

Qualifications

• Experience in multifamily maintenance or related field.
• Strong leadership experience and ability to train staff.
• HVAC certification required; CPO certification preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for HVAC, plumbing, electrical and appliances.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance including service tickets, inspections, repairs, preventative maintenance, unit turns, and upkeep of apartments and common areas.
• Lead maintenance team recruitment, mentoring, and performance/compensation reviews as required.
• Foster high-performance culture with clear expectations, feedback, and accountability.
• Ensure OSHA, EPA, ADA, Fair Housing and other safety regulations compliance.
• Monitor budgets, manage inventory, and coordinate with vendors for repairs and capital projects.
• Provide emergency/on-call maintenance support as needed.
• Support team with other duties to maintain resident satisfaction and property standards.
