Job summary

Trueline, a California-based general contractor focused exclusively on multifamily housing construction, is seeking a Lead Superintendent in Palm Desert to oversee a large-scale development from groundbreaking through completion. You will lead on-site activities, manage subcontractors, and collaborate with project teams, inspectors, and owners to deliver on schedule and quality.

The role offers a base salary of $120,000 to $160,000 with a performance-based bonus and strong growth opportunities

Qualifications

• 10+ years of construction leadership experience.
• Experience as superintendent on multifamily projects.
• Proven track record delivering large residential developments of 200+ units.
• Strong knowledge of sequencing, scheduling, logistics, and site operations.
• Experience managing multiple subcontractors and trades.
• Familiarity with inspections, turnover processes, punch lists, and closeout.
• Proficiency with Procore and construction management technology.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Direct all onsite construction activities from startup through turnover.
• Lead subcontractors, field staff, and trade partners to maintain schedule and productivity.
• Develop and execute short-term and long-range construction planning efforts.
• Coordinate inspections, deliveries, manpower, and daily field operations.
• Maintain high standards of workmanship and project quality.
• Conduct regular site walks and quality control reviews.
• Manage punch list completion and project closeout activities.
• Champion a proactive safety culture and enforce jobsite safety standards.
• Collaborate with project management, consultants, inspectors, and ownership representatives.
• Mentor and develop Assistant Superintendents and other field personnel.
• Identify and resolve field challenges before they impact project milestones.
