Job summary

Multicon Services LLC in Austin, TX is seeking a hands-on Construction Project Manager to lead on-site framing scope, safety, QC, and coordination with the general contractor and subcontractors. You will monitor schedules, oversee material delivery, manage change orders, and produce daily reports while ensuring open communication between client, PM, and field teams.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all project framing scope construction on site including safety, PPE, QC, weekly meetings with the General Contractor, inspections, job walks, logistics, and all communication between subcontractors.
• Review and verify construct-ability of plans and specifications with PM and subcontractors, initiate RFIs against current plans and specs.
• Track and maintain project schedule and site construction per approved schedule with GC and subcontractors; ensure subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers follow the schedule.
• Schedule and coordinate delivery and installation of all materials; document, log, and check active jobs weekly; submit weekly material inventory to PM.
• Assist in managing material procurement for the job site.
• Exhibit care for Owner/GC property on site (clean up, secure windows/doors, lock gates).
• Coordinate equipment delivery/pickup and service with PM and construction coordinator.
• Maintain flow of information among subcontractors, GC, PM from field to office; ensure clear client communication.
• Initiate and submit change orders and back charges to PM for approval/review.
• Oversee and report daily construction site operations with photos and daily reports.
• Attend sub meetings weekly to ensure schedule alignment with the 3-week look-ahead and address hot items.
• Perform site walk to verify safety regulations per health and safety manual.
• Obtain forklift certification to operate heavy equipment if necessary.
