Job summary

Sunrun Installation Services, Inc. is hiring a Foreman to lead a solar installation crew of three to six. You’ll ensure safety, quality, customer service and productivity on residential and small commercial projects.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, two years of construction experience (one year solar), a valid driver’s license, NEC knowledge, and strong communication and leadership.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Two years of construction experience with one year in solar installation.
  • Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
  • State electrical certification/license preferred.
  • Knowledge of the NEC and applicable codes and standards.
  • CPR and first aid certifications.
  • Computer skills with Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Strong communication and people management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Organizes, leads, and trains crew members.
  • Effectively manages all aspects of the construction workflow.
  • Maintains project documentation.
  • Develops a positive working dynamic within your team and with branch coworkers.
  • Analyzes and resolves worker problems and recommend solutions.
  • Maintains consistent customer relations throughout installation.
  • Provides feedback to management.
  • Performs service calls when necessary.
  • May serve as acting supervisor/manager in the absence of supervisor or manager.
