Relativity in Long Beach, California, seeks a Multidisciplinary Analysis & Simulation Engineer II to drive innovative rocket technologies. You will collaborate with design teams, develop software tools for trajectory optimization, and lead impactful interdisciplinary analyses.

Candidates should possess a degree in Engineering or related fields, with at least 1 year of experience in complex systems. Strong programming skills in Python or similar languages are essential.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of relevant full‑time work experience with demonstrated ability to solve complex problems from first principles.
• Direct experience on rocketry, space systems, or equally complex hardware systems.
• Ability to complete projects with end‑to‑end ownership and a high degree of independence.

Responsibilities

• Closely collaborate with key design teams to integrate the latest design data into full simulations of customer missions.
• Develop and leverage software tooling to optimize launch and orbital trajectories.
• Define and maintain high‑level vehicle and trajectory design requirements.
