Job summary

Matrix PDM invites energetic engineering students for a 10-week summer internship designed to provide practical experience and identify future leaders.

As an Engineer Intern, you will work under practicing engineers across Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Process, Electrical, Instrument and Controls disciplines, supporting bids, contracts, and updates to standards while learning in a multi-discipline EPC environment in the Energy and Cryogenic Liquids markets.

Qualifications

• Pursuing BS degree in engineering with at least 4 semesters completed.
• Strong computer skills including Excel and MS Word.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Proactive in researching and proposing solutions.
• Ability to effectively work within a team.
• GPA 3.0 or greater.

Responsibilities

• Actively supports the Company's commitment to safety and its Core Values.

• Participate in on-the-job training.
• Assist engineering staff with assignments.
• Performs basic engineering tasks such as reviewing technical documents, developing sketches, and checking design calculations.
• Complete capstone project.
