Job summary

HD Supply is seeking a warehouse associate to work across multiple departments in a distribution center, including case pick, shipping, receiving, returns, loading, order processing, and replenishment. You will operate material handling equipment to move inventory within the facility and support staging and loading orders for customer delivery.

Ideal candidates have a HS diploma or GED, 2–5 years in a similar role, and the ability to read written material.

Qualifications

• H S Diploma or GED strongly preferred.
• Generally 2-5 years of experience in area of responsibility.
• Specialized skills training/certification may be required.

Responsibilities

• Use material handling equipment to locate and deliver products, supplies, and equipment to designated areas.
• Assist with staging and loading orders into trucks for customer delivery.
• Verify quantity and quality of incoming products from vendors and distribution centers.
• Use packing list information to collect items for customer orders, including building and wrapping pallets of products.
• Examine and inspect stock items for wear and defects and notify management of inventory issues.
• Return misplaced products to proper storage areas.
• Maintain a clean working environment in accordance with company safety policies.
• Perform inventory control functions as needed.
