HD Supply, Inc. is seeking a distribution center associate to operate material handling equipment and perform cross-department tasks in four or more areas such as case pick, shipping, receiving, returns, and replenishment.

The role involves verifying incoming inventory, packing orders, staging loads for delivery, and maintaining safety and organization on the floor. The successful candidate will have a HS Diploma or GED, 2–5 years in a related setting, and the ability to read and understand

Formación

• HS Diploma or GED strongly preferred; 2–5 years of related distribution center experience.
• Experience operating material handling equipment.
• Ability to understand written material.

Responsabilidades

• Use material handling equipment to locate and deliver products, supplies, and equipment to designated areas.
• Assist with staging and loading orders into trucks for customer delivery.
• Verify quantity and quality of incoming products from vendors and distribution centers.
• Use packing list information to collect items for customer orders, including building and wrapping pallets of products.
• Examine and inspect stock items for wear and defects and notify management of inventory issues.
• Returns misplaced products to proper storage areas.
• Maintains a clean working environment in accordance with company safety policies.
• Performs inventory control functions as needed.
