Job summary

HD Supply Canada, Inc. in San Diego, CA, is seeking an associate who works across multiple distribution center departments, including case pick, shipping, receiving, returns, loading, and replenishment.

You will operate material handling equipment to move inventory within the facility and support staging and loading orders for delivery. The right candidate has 2–5 years of DC experience, HS diploma or GED, and the ability to understand written material.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED strongly preferred.
• 2-5 years of experience in the area of responsibility.
• CA, CO, CT, D.C., DE, HI, IL, MA, MD, ME, MN, NJ, NV, NY, OH, RI, VA, VT, and WA postings require salary ranges.

Responsibilities

• Operate material handling equipment to move inventory within the facility.
• Locate and deliver products to designated areas.
• Assist with staging and loading orders for customer delivery.
• Verify quantity and quality of incoming products from vendors and distribution centers.
• Build and wrap pallets for customer orders.
• Inspect stock items for wear/defects and notify management of issues.
• Return misplaced products to proper storage areas.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment per policies.
• Perform inventory control tasks as needed.
