Job summary

HD Supply in Forest Park, GA seeks a warehouse associate to work across multiple distribution center departments, including receiving, picking, shipping and replenishment, and to operate material handling equipment to move inventory.

You will verify stock, assist loading deliveries, perform quality checks, maintain a clean, safe workspace, and support inventory control tasks as needed. Strong reading comprehension and 2–5 years of related experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED strongly preferred.
• Specialized skills training/certification may be required.
• Generally 2-5 years of experience in area of responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Use material handling equipment to locate and deliver products to designated areas.
• Assist with staging and loading orders into trucks for customer delivery.
• Verify quantity and quality of incoming products from vendors and distribution centers.
• Use packing list information to collect items for customer orders, including building and wrapping pallets.
• Examine and inspect stock items for wear and defects and notify management of inventory issues.
• Return misplaced products to proper storage areas.
• Maintain a clean working environment in accordance with company safety policies.
• Performs inventory control functions as needed.
