Job summary

Yancey Bros. Co. in Batesville, MS is seeking a Maintenance Technician for Yancey Engineered Solutions to perform routing preventative maintenance and repairs on buildings and mechanical equipment.

You will handle multi-craft tasks including carpentry, painting, plumbing, HVAC, and electrical, work safely under CSMS policies, and participate in TPM tasks. The role requires 3+ years of multi-craft maintenance experience and an associate degree or technical training.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in a technical field or post-high school training; 3+ years multi-craft maintenance.
• 3+ years experience in multi-craft maintenance; automation experience preferred.
• Ability to read manuals, prints, wiring diagrams, and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on production and facilities equipment across mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and electronic systems.
• Maintain and repair facility structure, equipment, and grounds including plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, painting, and minor electrical work.
• Work with manufacturing, process engineering, and safety to install or repair building plumbing, wiring, drywall, and carpentry required in production.
• Inspect premises to determine required repairs and perform them; follow CSMS policies and safety rules.
• Operate material handling equipment (cranes, forklifts, jacks) safely and coordinate with EHS and engineering.
