Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Television Production, or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience with Camera control units, ENG field cameras.
  • Telemetrics, Grass Valley, Canon, Sony, or similar cameras and camera control systems.
  • Experience with editing and operating graphics equipment (Compix, Xpression, ATEM).
  • Excellent communications and multitasking skills.
  • Strongly preferred: PEG experience and flypacks/field remote equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Operate & configure robotic cameras and camera control units.
  • Operate ENG cameras and graphics systems.
  • Assist with equipment setup, load/unload, and troubleshooting.
  • Support public meetings and follow production schedules and workflows.
  • Maintain safe, organized production spaces.
  • Conduct equipment inspections before and after productions.
  • Collaborate with City staff, contractors, and production crews.

Job description

Technical Director/Multicam PTZ Operator

This is a Part Time position in the field of Live Broadcast / Sports / TV News / Technical Operations , located in Los Angeles, CA .

The position pays $350.00 — $350.00 per day.

The employer is Squadron.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Operating & configuring robotic cameras and camera control unitsOperating & configuring ENG camerasOperating & configuring graphics systemsPossible expected tasks can be: Driving to and from locations, loading and unloading vehicles, assisting with equipment set up, tear downs and troubleshooting, audio, lighting, setting up line cuts for streaming, communications, and other equipment as needed.Support public meetings.Follow production schedules, call sheets, technical specifications, production workflows, and operational procedures established by client.Maintain professional conduct while working with officials, executive leadership, departments, vendors, community organizations, members of the public, and media representatives.Assist with loading, unloading, transporting, assembling, and securing production equipment.Conduct equipment inspections before and after productions to verify operational readiness.Maintain clean, organized, and safe production workspaces.Perform other related duties as assigned.

Experience
