This is a Part Time position in the field of Live Broadcast / Sports / TV News / Technical Operations , located in Los Angeles, CA .
The position pays $350.00 — $350.00 per day.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Operating & configuring robotic cameras and camera control unitsOperating & configuring ENG camerasOperating & configuring graphics systemsPossible expected tasks can be: Driving to and from locations, loading and unloading vehicles, assisting with equipment set up, tear downs and troubleshooting, audio, lighting, setting up line cuts for streaming, communications, and other equipment as needed.Support public meetings.Follow production schedules, call sheets, technical specifications, production workflows, and operational procedures established by client.Maintain professional conduct while working with officials, executive leadership, departments, vendors, community organizations, members of the public, and media representatives.Assist with loading, unloading, transporting, assembling, and securing production equipment.Conduct equipment inspections before and after productions to verify operational readiness.Maintain clean, organized, and safe production workspaces.Perform other related duties as assigned.
EducationBachelor's degree in Television Production, or equivalent work experienceRequired ExperienceExperience with Camera control units, ENG field camerasTelemetrics, Grass Valley, Canon, Sony, or similar cameras and camera control systemsExperience with editing and operating graphics equipmentCompix, Xpression, ATEM systems experienceComfortable with troubleshooting, reporting issues and providing solutions in a fast paced environmentExcellent communications and multitasking skillsStrongly Preferred Skills and Experience:Minimum 3 years of experience within a PEG (Public, Educational, Governmental) organizationFlypacks/ field remote equipmentTelemetrics, Grass Valley, Canon, Sony, and camera control systemsKnowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesDemonstrated ability to troubleshoot technical and production issues in a fast-paced live environmentExcellent communication, organizational, and multitasking skillsAbility to collaborate effectively with City staff, contractors, and production crews
