Multi-Unit / Salon Manager / Licensed Cosmetologist

PS Salon & Spa is looking for a Professional, Licensed Cosmetologist with Management Experience to manage our multi-unit salons as a District Leader, within our partnered Senior Living Communities!

Job Type: Full-time, 5 days a week

COMPENSATION:

  • $28 an hour for Administrative & District Leader Duties: Up to 8 hours a week. You will receive an hourly rate for all assigned duties when you are NOT working Behind the Chair providing services.
  • Behind the Chair (BTC) Days: Minimum of 4 days a week at a commission rate of 52%. You will be paid the %-based commission rate for every service you perform (or a guaranteed hourly wage - per state, local, federal minimum wage requirements - whichever is higher.)
  • 52% commission on your start date but will increase annually thereafter according to company policy.
  • If applicable, you will be paid a commission rate of 15% per any Take Home (retail) product you sell.
  • Paid on a Biweekly basis in accordance with the company's published pay schedule.
  • District Leader Quarterly Bonus Eligibility (per program policy).
  • Company Benefits eligible after 30 days of hire (Medical/Dental/Vision/Life/401K).
  • PTO will be available per company policy.
  • Potential estimated annual earnings of $42-55k plus!

Position Requirements:

  • MUST HAVE: Valid state Cosmetology license and reliable transportation.
  • Required to do Cosmetology Services behind the chair, minimum of 4 days a week.
  • Required to do basic manicures and pedicures.
  • Basic email and computer navigation skills required.
  • Experience in a caregiving environment (preferred).

Physical Requirements:

  • On a regular basis, requires the ability to walk.
  • On a regular basis, requires the ability to reach with hands and arms.
  • On a regular basis, requires the ability to stand for a minimum of 6 hours.
  • On a regular basis, requires the ability to lift and/or move 50 lbs.
  • On a frequent basis, requires the ability to stoop, kneel, and crouch.
