Job summary

The role requires coordinating with the Director of Construction, supervising general contractors and Darden vendors, ensuring contract adherence, and maintaining schedules across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years experience in project management on multiple projects.
• Working knowledge of CPM scheduling, cost reporting, payment applications, and project status reporting.
• Experience working with multi-unit restaurant chains desirable.
• Equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

Responsibilities

• Participate with Director of Construction in developing budgets for remodel and new construction projects.
• Review Contract Documents for accuracy and adherence to concept standards.
• Manage bid process for general contractors, including bid documents, bid period, bids analysis, approvals, awards and contracts.
• Supervise general contractors and all direct Darden vendors, including schedule updates and coordination with Operations.
• Manage turnover to Operations, including punch lists, warranty manuals and maintenance procedures.
• Manage the warranty period of one year after restaurant opening.

Education

B.S./B.A. in Architecture/Construction Management, Civil Engineering or related degree (equivalent experience may be considered)
