Sonic Multi-Unit Leader Job Description

As a Sonic Multi-Unit Leader, you will manage the operations of all General Managers and employees within multiple SONIC drive-ins. Your responsibilities include training and supporting employees to ensure quality food is provided in a clean, safe, and efficient manner, ensuring guests have an enjoyable experience. Key duties include:
- Managing, training, and coaching General Managers and employees, including conducting management orientation.
- Assigning employees to ensure service standards are met.
- Overseeing employees across various stations during shifts, depending on volume, to meet operational standards.
- Ensuring compliance with employee policies and practices.
- Addressing employee issues and policy violations promptly.
- Managing work schedules to maintain proper staffing.
- Controlling costs related to food, labor, and inventory, and taking corrective actions when necessary.
- Monitoring vendor performance and taking corrective actions as needed.
- Auditing employment and payroll records.
- Focusing on guest satisfaction and responding to escalated complaints appropriately.
- Recruiting, interviewing, and hiring management staff.
- Approving employee and management compensation within guidelines.
- Preparing operational reports and developing action plans for financial or sales issues.
- Implementing regional marketing plans.
Qualifications include:
- High school diploma or equivalent; advanced studies preferred.
- At least three years of restaurant management experience, preferably in QSR.
- Experience in multi-unit supervision is preferred.
- Availability to work at least 5 days a week, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Knowledge of recruiting, labor laws, and sanitation regulations.
- Leadership and communication skills.
- Basic accounting and computer skills.
- Ability to work independently, multitask, and solve problems.
- Adherence to appearance, uniform, and hygiene standards.
