Multi-Unit Leader for Lapidary Capital Group

As a Sonic Multi-Unit Leader, you will be managing the operations of all General Managers and employees within multiple SONIC drive-ins. You will also be responsible for training and supporting the drive-ins’ employees to ensure we provide quality food in a clean, safe, and efficient manner so that our guests will have an enjoyable experience at Sonic! The job duties include:

  1. Manages, trains, and coaches Working Partners/General Managers and conducts management orientation.
  2. Directs and assigns employees as needed to ensure all aspects of service meet operational standards.
  3. Oversees multiple drive-in employees and management in performing all duties in the Basic Stations (Fountain & Frozen, Dresser, Front Swamp, Back Swamp, Grill, Switchboard, Expeditor, Food Prep, Carhop, Skating Carhop, and Drive-Thru) as needed and depending on store volume, during a shift to ensure the preparation (portion control), temperature, packaging, appearance, presentation, taste, and service of all menu items meet operational standards.
  4. Adheres to and monitors management compliance with the drive-in employee handbook, policies, and practices.
  5. Addresses employee issues and policy violations promptly and reports all employee issues, complaints, and violations to the immediate supervisor.
  6. Reviews employee and management work schedules in a timely manner to ensure proper guest service in accordance with Sonic Drive-In policy and law.
  7. Monitors multiple drive-in cost control procedures for food, labor, paper, and inventory, taking corrective action when necessary.
  8. Monitors vendor performance and takes corrective action as needed.
  9. Audits employment-related records and payroll records.
  10. Reinforces the importance of guest needs and responds to escalated guest requests and complaints respectfully, taking corrective action when needed.
  11. Recruits, interviews, and hires management team members to achieve staffing levels.
  12. Approves compensation levels of employees and managers within company guidelines.
  13. Prepares operational reports for multiple drive-ins and develops action plans for financial or sales issues.
  14. Develops and implements regional marketing plans.

Additional Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; advanced studies preferred.
  • Minimum three (3) years of restaurant management experience, preferably in QSR.
  • Experience in multi-unit supervision is preferred.
  • Must work a minimum of 5 days per week, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Knowledge of recruiting, interviewing, federal and state labor laws, and health regulations.
  • Leadership, supervisory skills, effective communication, basic accounting, and computer skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously, multi-task, and solve problems effectively.
  • Adherence to appearance, uniform, and hygiene standards.
