Job summary

Hunt Military Communities seeks Maintenance Technicians at multiple career levels to support the maintenance and readiness of our housing communities at Joint Base Charleston, SC. This role covers general maintenance, preventive work, and make-ready tasks, with outdoor work in all weather.

Responsibilities include responding to requests for HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry, documenting work, and maintaining tools.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent) required.
Able to work outside in all weather conditions and perform physical work, including lifting up to 50 pounds.
Requires a team player who pays close attention to detail and can prioritise in a fast-moving environment.
Basic computer knowledge. Position requires use of technology platforms daily.
Valid driver's license in-state required.
EPA 608 Certification within 180 days from hire (Level 2/3).
OSHA-10 Training within 1 year from hire (Level 3).

Responsibilities

Responds to service requests across HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances, painting, carpentry and other maintenance items.
Performs skilled work in one or more trades and conducts basic troubleshooting.
Documents all work in accordance with company policy and maintains equipment.
Assists in making ready vacated units including painting, flooring, carpentry, and other repairs.
Performs emergency maintenance and ensures unsafe conditions are corrected promptly.
Mentors Level 1/2 technicians and supports a efficiently run maintenance operation.
