• Performs carpentry work in construction, alteration, major repair or modification of items and structures.
• Repairs and installs plumbing fixtures in public buildings; uses plans and blueprints.
• Mixes, pours, and levels concrete; plans work methods and sequences.
• Repairs and/or replaces locking devices and uses welding equipment.
• Welds using torch and clamps; reads blueprints to prepare parts.
• Back-up for locksmith; follows safety and trade practices.
• Work schedule: Monday–Friday 07:30–16:00; may involve heavy physical exertion and respirator use.
