Job summary

Argenta in Shawnee, KS, is seeking a Facilities & Building Maintenance Technician to keep our production facility running safely and efficiently.

You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance across plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and HVAC, while adhering to cGMP standards and coordinating with licensed contractors.

The role requires 3–5 years of hands-on experience in commercial or industrial maintenance and the ability to read blueprints.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of hands-on building maintenance experience in a commercial, industrial, or manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in at least three trades: plumbing, electrical, carpentry and/or HVAC.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and equipment manuals.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• General Maintenance & Facility Upkeep across multiple trades.
• Inspect, maintain and repair plumbing, electrical, carpentry and HVAC systems.
• Respond to maintenance work orders and safety incidents promptly.
• Maintain logs and records of maintenance work.
• Coordinate with contractors for specialized repairs.
• Ensure compliance with cGMP, safety and regulatory requirements.
