Job summary

Ballyhack Golf Club, a scenic Roanoke venue, seeks a part-time Facilities Maintenance worker to support clubhouse, lodging, and on-property facilities. You will perform carpentry, painting, plumbing, and electrical tasks, assist with yard work and upkeep, and help ensure safe, clean operations for members and guests.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma, basic tool skills, and a collaborative work mindset.

Qualifications

Proven knowledge of routine facility maintenance and safety practices.
Ability to operate basic maintenance tools and equipment.
Good written and verbal communication; detail oriented.

Responsibilities

Support routine and preventive maintenance of clubhouse, lodging, and on-property facilities.
Perform semi-skilled maintenance across trades including carpentry, painting, plumbing, and basic electrical repairs.
Maintain exteriors: painting, landscaping support, fencing, and aesthetics.
Carry out custodial and general upkeep tasks as needed.
Replace light bulbs and assist with ballast repairs as required.
Inspect HVAC/electrical equipment and replace filters as needed.
Report issues to Facilities Maintenance Manager; ensure safety and cleanliness.
Assist with special projects and facility improvements as directed.
Maintain professional appearance and wear uniforms; collaborate with team.
