Job summary

Prep Academy Tutors is seeking qualified educators to join our San Diego team. You will provide academic support aligned with the California state curriculum and tailor your approach to each student’s needs.

You will also assign supplemental work, deliver remedial and enrichment activities, and communicate progress with parents or guardians, while maintaining a flexible schedule and a student-centered mindset.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is required and candidate must meet one of the listed criteria.
• California teaching certificate or equivalent is required.
• Experience as private or charter school teacher is acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Provide academic support to students based on expertise and knowledge of the state curriculum.
• Provide supplemental assignments to students to help promote a greater understanding of the material.
• Provide remedial and enrichment support for students.
• Communicate with parents or guardians to discuss student progress.
• Provide a customized approach tailored to the individual needs of each student.
