Job summary

Macy’s is seeking a Multi-Store Investigator to proactively identify theft patterns and support stores within a designated market. You will develop strategies to mitigate losses and collaborate with Senior ORC and AP Managers to reduce organized retail crime.

Responsibilities include leading investigations, managing caseloads, training staff, collecting evidence, and presenting major findings to leadership. Travel and remote work possible as needed.

Qualifications

• Skilled in leading, managing, and coordinating ORC investigations across multiple locations.
• Ability to build partnerships with law enforcement and retail partners.
• Strong analytical skills to identify trends and support decision-making.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for reporting and testimony.

Responsibilities

• Conduct investigations into recurring thefts and ORC activity within a division.
• Manage caseload across stores and coordinate follow-ups.
• Partner with AP teams and leadership to address theft trends.
• Provide evidence collection and detailed reporting for prosecutions.
• Train store-level associates on ORC indicators and prevention.
