Job summary

SecureSpace Management LLC is seeking a Self-Storage Multi-Store Manager to lead operations across multiple locations and drive sales, occupancy, and customer satisfaction. You will supervise store teams, coordinate schedules, ensure brand standards, and partner with the Area and District Managers to meet store goals.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in storage, retail or hospitality.
• Multi-unit experience is preferred but not required.
• Strong use of the English language in verbal and written communication.
• Customer service mindset.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Identify maintenance, safety, and fire issues.
• Operate roll-up doors for storage units.
• Frequent travel to assigned stores for coverage and support.

Responsibilities

• Exceed sales goals by promoting unit rentals, warranties, moving supplies, and securing positive reviews.
• Guide and assist new customers through the rental process.
• Reach out to potential clients to confirm moving dates and secure units.
• Manage past-due tenants and handle lien/auction paperwork.
• Provide exceptional customer service to existing clients.
• Perform daily inspections for security, cleanliness, and upkeep.
• Communicate results and updates to Area Manager, District Manager, and Leadership Team.
• Travel frequently to all locations for shifts and support.
• Be flexible with weekend and holiday work schedules.

Self-Storage Multi-Store Manager Scope of Position

The Multi-Store Manager performs a wide variety of duties that support and enable the Area Manager and District Manager to meet and accomplish the expectations and requirements defined in the position. To this end, the Multi-Store Manager must be able to work within collaborative team efforts to prioritize sales, customer acquisition, vendor management, and the overall performance of their assigned stores. The Multi-Store Manager will also support departmental projects and initiatives and constantly demonstrate teamwork skills by cooperating with staff and customers.

The Multi-Store Manager will ensure their assigned stores’ overall reflection of brand expectations, including sales, collections and occupancy stats, positive customer experience, cleanliness, and facility operations.

Self-Storage Multi-Store Manager Skills and Experience:

• Minimum (3) years of experience in storage, retail or hospitality.


• Multi-unit experience is preferred but not required.


• Strong use of the English language in verbal and written communication.


• Customer service mindset.


• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.


• Ability to identify potential maintenance, safety, and fire issues.


• Ability to operate roll-up doors for storage units.


• Required to travel on a frequent basis to assigned stores for both regular shift coverage and the ongoing support of team members, customers, and store needs as necessary.

Self-Storage Multi-Store Manager Responsibilities:

• Effectively exceed sales goals by promoting unit rentals, unit warranties, moving supplies, and securing positive reviews as a key responsibility.


• Guide and assist new customers through the rental process, ensuring transactions are conducted smoothly.


• Reach out personally to potential clients to confirm their moving dates and ensure their storage units are secured.


• Manage past due tenants proactively and handle the paperwork for the lien/auction process efficiently.


• Provide exceptional customer service to existing clients, exceeding their expectations in meeting their needs.


• Perform daily inspections of the property to ensure security, cleanliness, and proper upkeep. Responsibilities include checking locks, cleaning units, restocking supplies, and executing light maintenance tasks.


• Communicate results, updates, and recommendations clearly and effectively to the Area Manager, District Manager, and the Leadership Team.


• Travel frequently to all assigned locations for scheduled shifts and operational support based on the needs of the business.


• Be flexible with your schedule for weekend and holiday work, depending on facility hours and schedules with your team.

Self-Storage Multi-Store Manager Physical Requirements:
