Job summary

Ampersand Brands is seeking an Inventory Manager to optimize stock across Lolli & Pops stores and distribution centers, balancing in-stock levels with inventory investment and profitability.

You'll partner with Merchandising, Store Operations, Distribution, Finance, Purchasing, and Marketing to develop seasonal launches, promotions, and lifecycle strategies while maintaining accuracy and efficiency. The role emphasizes analytics and ERP/BI tools to drive sell-through.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in Business, Supply Chain, Merchandising, Finance or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in inventory planning, allocation, replenishment, merchandising planning, or inventory management.
• Retail inventory management experience required.
• Multi-store retail experience strongly preferred.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency and experience with ERP/BI tools.

Responsibilities

• Manage inventory levels across all stores and distribution centers.
• Establish inventory targets, safety stock levels, and replenishment parameters by SKU and location.
• Allocate inventory for new store openings, seasonal launches, promotions, and marketing initiatives.
• Monitor inventory health and resolve overstocks, stockouts, and slow-moving inventory.
• Balance inventory investment while maintaining target service levels and product availability.
• Partner with Merchandising to develop item-level and store-level forecasts.
• Execute replenishment strategies based on sales trends and seasonality.
• Analyze sales trends and forecast accuracy to improve performance.
• Oversee inventory transfers between stores and distribution centers.
• Lead cycle counts and annual physical inventories.
• Investigate inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
