Job summary

Sonic Drive-In is seeking a Restaurant Team Member in Florida to support Fountain & Frozen, Food Production, Grill, Fryer, Switchboard and Drive-Thru areas. You will take orders, prepare drinks and food, and help keep the drive-in clean and safe for guests.

The role emphasizes enthusiasm in guest service, accuracy in order handling, and adherence to appearance and hygiene standards while working flexible hours.

Qualifications

• Irregular hours, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Flexible in all situations based on restaurant business needs.
• Effective communication, basic math and reading skills.
• Willingness to abide by appearance, uniform and hygiene standards at Sonic Drive-In restaurants.
• General knowledge and understanding of the food service/restaurant industry or retail operations is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Take orders and make accurate change quickly.
• Provide food service to guests with enthusiasm.
• Package all menu items and check for product quality and consistency.
• Prepare drinks and ice cream treats.
• Prepare food orders, cook on the grill, operate the fry station as needed.
• Clean the drive-in restaurants—including trash disposal, mopping, sweeping, washing dishes, wiping countertops and sanitizing food areas.
