Job summary

SONIC Drive-In is seeking a Restaurant Cook to oversee Food Production, Grill, Fryer and related tasks, delivering quality meals with speed and care. You’ll work across stations, maintain cleanliness, and ensure orders meet standards.

Candidates should be able to work irregular hours, communicate effectively, and follow directions while upholding hygiene and uniform standards in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to work irregular hours, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Effective communication; basic math and reading skills.
• Ability to follow directions.
• Willingness to adhere to appearance, uniform and hygiene standards.
• General knowledge of the restaurant/retail industry is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook food orders to meet quality standards.
• Handle food preparation and portioning.
• Cook on the grill and operate fry station.
• Dress items to order and package menu items.
• Check product quality and consistency; clean work area.
• Maintain sanitation including trash disposal and dishwashing.
