Job summary

A dynamic contracting firm in Nevada is seeking an experienced Assistant Controller to support its central financial operations. This role involves managing accounting policies, overseeing functions such as accounts receivable and payroll processing for over 100 employees, while ensuring compliance with financial reporting. Candidates with 3 years of experience in construction or general accounting, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office and advanced Excel skills, will thrive in this role. Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years construction or general accounting experience preferred.
• Experience in construction software (Vista Viewpoint is IDEAL).
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening & background check.

Responsibilities

• Manage AIA progress billing and collections for Accounts Receivable.
• Work with the PO System for Accounts Payable.
• Process payroll for over 100 employees weekly.
• Prepare quarterly and annual payroll reports.
• Lead general ledger reviews and assist in financial statement preparation.
