Job summary

Youth Athletes United in NYC is seeking experienced Multi‑Sport Coaches to join our child development team. The role involves working with small groups of children aged 2–12 across 10 sports, focusing on developing skills, physical literacy and teamwork in a fun, non-competitive environment.

We offer competitive starting pay from $30/hr with potential to reach $50/hr based on experience. Flexibility for weekends and evenings, plus ongoing training and support to help you grow as a coach.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year experience coaching sport with youth.
• Experience with children in a sports context preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively with children and parents.
• Strong coaching background across multiple sports.
• Passion for developing physical literacy and social skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Flexible to work weekends and/or evenings; reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized attention to help each child succeed.
• Use a non-competitive approach to keep classes fun.
• Encourage children with positive reinforcement.
• Attend regular training and follow the Amazing Athletes Coaching Manual.
• Co-create engaging sessions across 10 sports.
