Job summary

GeBBS Healthcare Solutions is seeking a multi-specialty Pro-Fee medical coder with strong OBGYN and Urology expertise for part-time work. Minimum 10 hours per week, with potential to expand to 15–20 hours for candidates with broader specialty experience, including primary care.

Proficiency in EPIC and denials management is preferred. Ideal candidates will have at least five years of current Pro-Fee hospital coding, CPC or AHIMA credentials, and a track record of accurate coding with high quality

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years of Pro-Fee hospital coding experience.
• IP and OP coding experience (POS 21, 22, 11).
• Current CPC or AHIMA certification.
• Ability to code accurately with a quality score of 95% or greater.
• EPIC experience preferred.
• Patient Keeper experience preferred.
• California Medicaid guidelines experience preferred.
• Must pass a ProFee coding assessment.
• Comfortable with MS Office, Teams, VPN.

Responsibilities

• Medical Coding from documentation: CPT/modifiers/ICD-10 codes.
• Charge Review WQ’s: compare EPIC coding to documentation and suggest changes.
• Claim Edit WQ’s: review edits/rejections and recommend corrections.
• Follow-Up WQ’s: review denials/edits and propose coding changes.
