Job summary

Mount Carmel Health System, part of Trinity Health, seeks a Full-time Nursing Assistant for 12-hour night shifts to support patients with daily living activities and care coordination. You will assist with bathing, grooming, eating, and maintain room readiness while documenting data under supervision.

Responsibilities include obtaining vital signs, performing EKG and phlebotomy as delegated, and upholding quality standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of EKG and Phlebotomy courses and initial clinical competency.
• BLS healthcare provider training.
• Previous patient care experience preferred.

• Perform EKG and phlebotomy as delegated by Staff RN.
• Document patient data accurately and completely.
• All other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of EKG and Phlebotomy courses and initial clinical competency course upon hire or transfer.
• Completion and maintenance of BLS healthcare provider training.
• Experience: Previous patient care experience and/or technical education in health-related field preferred.
