Responsibilities

  • Perform routine and STAT phlebotomy procedures.
  • Obtain and document EKGs as ordered.

  • Monitor and report patient conditions to the supervising RN.
  • Maintain patient comfort, safety, and dignity at all times.
  • Ensure proper specimen collection, labeling, handling, and transport.
  • Maintain equipment and supplies required for patient care, phlebotomy, and EKG procedures.

Multi-Skilled Technician, Emergency Department, 7a-7p (PCT EXP Required)

Griffin Health is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Multi-Skilled Technician to join our patient care team. Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN), the Multi-Skilled Technician performs and assists with routine and STAT blood draws, electrocardiograms (EKGs), and provides direct patient care support to ensure high-quality, patient-centered service.

  • Perform routine and STAT phlebotomy procedures accurately and efficiently.
  • Obtain and document EKGs as ordered.
  • Assist nursing staff with patient care activities and clinical procedures.
  • Monitor and report patient conditions or concerns to the supervising RN.
  • Maintain patient comfort, safety, and dignity at all times.
