Job summary

7-Eleven is seeking a Multi Skilled Maintenance Technician I to keep stores running smoothly, including Slurpee machines and equipment upgrades. The role requires hands-on repairs, project work, and the ability to travel across the United States.

Qualifications

• Travel 50% of the time or more across the United States.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 1+ years in general repairs and maintenance.
• Valid Driver’s License (real ID or equivalent for air travel).

Responsibilities

• Completes special project work (POS upgrades/installations, Fuel dispenser upgrades, and other projects).
• Support markets on service calls as part of a strike team when staffing shortages.
• Handle orders related to plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance.
• Manage parts inventory and daily reports for efficiency.
• Train other level I technicians and prioritize work.

Your Day-to-Day:

As a Special Projects Technician I, you’ll:

• Completes special project work. (POS upgrades/installations, Fuel dispenser upgrades, along with other projects)
• In the event a market is short staffed on IHM technician, work on a strike team to assist that market with service calls
• Also handles orders related to plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance issues
• Manage parts inventory and complete daily reports to ensure efficiency
• Variety of additional duties including training other level I technicians, prioritizing work, basic maintenance on structures, etc.

What You Bring To The Table

• Travel and Scheduling: The ability to travel 50% of the time or greater to assigned sites across the United States, and follow the assigned work schedule
• Education: High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Experience: 1+ years in general repairs and maintenance
• Identification: Valid Driver’s License (with real ID or equivalent for air travel)
• Skills: Show leadership, peer-to-peer tech support, effective communication, handle stretch assignments, facility location ownership, and time management
