Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Flex Patrol for Gahanna, OH. Work 30–40 hours per week with a flexible, self-scheduling program and irregular shifts. Qualifications

• Be available to work varying shifts, including holidays, nights, and weekends.
• Have reliable transportation.
• Be available for last-minute shift scheduling.
• Be able to travel required distances.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Pass a background check as required by law.
• Pass a drug screening where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply by state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle.
• Watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards.
• Sound alarms or call police or fire department if needed.
• Warn violators of infractions such as loitering or forbidden articles.
• Monitor entrances and exits and verify authorized access.
• Investigate accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities; maintain logs.
• Assist customers, employees, and visitors courteously and professionally.
• Make emergency notifications as necessary.
