Securitas Security Services USA, Inc. in Dekalb, IL is seeking a security officer to protect people and property, perform rounds, and deliver professional customer service.

Competitive wage of $21.00–$22.00 per hour plus comprehensive benefits, including Medical, Dental, Vision & 401K options, and Paid Time Off. Roles require calm, vigilance, and independent work across 3rd shift and additional shifts as needed.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills.
• Must be able to work independently and stay calm under pressure.
• Willingness to pass pre-employment screening, including drug test and background check.
• Driver certification preferred.
• Shift flexibility including 3rd shift.

Responsibilities

• Identify and report safety issues and suspicious activity.
• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.
• Ensure that post orders are followed and rounds are completed.
• Provide customer service and information to the client’s employees and guests.
• Utilize technology devices during shift.
• Conduct tours of the property.
• Carry out assigned site tasks and duties of similar nature and scope.
