Job summary

Securitas Security Services USA, Inc. is seeking an on-call Security Officer to cover open shifts with no set schedule. The role includes patrols of client sites, gate access control, and responding to security needs across Harford, Baltimore, and Sparrows Point, MD.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of security experience and/or prior law enforcement, corrections, or military experience are required.
• Must have a full, valid driver's license and be able to travel to Harford County, Baltimore County, and Sparrows Point, MD.
• On-call role with no set schedule; hours vary 8–30 per week.
• Excellent customer service and computer skills are required.

• Monitor and patrol multiple client sites on varied schedules to maintain a safe environment.
• Provide information and assistance to employees and customers as needed.
• Enforce client rules and directives for personnel, visitors, and areas.

Job description

Wage: $20.00/ hour

Officer will be on call to cover open shifts and will not have a set schedule. Hours will vary based on business needs (8-30 hours per week). Must have a full, valid driver's license and be able to travel to Harford County, Baltimore County, and Sparrows Point, MD. Responsibilities include truck gate access control and conducting interior and exterior foot patrols. Must have excellent customer service and computer skills. More than 2 years of security experience and/or previous law enforcement, corrections, or military experience required.

Frequently our Security Officers will provide customer service and information to a client’s employees and customers.
