Job summary

Health Delivery, Inc. seeks a Pharmacy Technician to assist pharmacists across multiple Michigan sites.

You will handle patient check-in, enter prescription data, verify insurance and support medication management in a team-based environment. Responsibilities include assisting with filling and labeling prescriptions, communicating with prescribers, maintaining inventory, answering calls, and ensuring accuracy under supervision.

Qualifications

• Education and licensure required for Michigan Pharmacy Technician.
• Basic computer skills and pharmacy program literacy preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients dropping off prescriptions and collect necessary information.
• Enter prescription data and patient/insurance profiles accurately.
• Communicate with insurance carriers to obtain payment for claims.
• Assist pharmacist under supervision in dispensing and labeling prescriptions.
• FIll and label prescriptions; liaison with prescribers for new/refill orders.
• Verify customer prescriptions at point of sale.
• Maintain inventory; place and expedite orders; remove outdated drugs.
• Handle supplies requisitions and receive deliveries.
• Answer calls promptly; refer questions to pharmacist; advocate for patient.
• Compound ointments/creams under supervision.
• Pre-packaging of bulk medications and labeling for various sites.
• Assist other staff and maintain workflow per guidelines.
• Keep workspace clean and compliant with standards.
• Stay aware of community and pharmaceutical developments.
