Securitas USA seeks a dedicated security professional to join our team in Dekalb, IL. The role emphasizes customer service, safety, and daily rounds across client sites.

Responsibilities include de-escalation, reporting hazards, following post orders, and utilizing security tech. Candidates must be 18+, with a HS diploma, and able to pass screening. 3rd shift with flexible hours offered.

Qualifications

• 18+ years of age and legal eligibility to work in the United States.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Above average computer/technology skills needed.
• Security, law enforcement, or military experience a plus.
• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills.
• Ability to work independently and stay calm under stress.
• Maintain professional demeanor and attention to detail at all times.
• Respond to emergencies with rapid, effective judgment and escalation.
• Must pass pre-employment screening including drug screen and background check.
• Driver certification required.
• Available to work 3rd shift and one other shift.

Primary Location: Dekalb, IL

Wage Range: $21.00-$22.00/HR

What You Can Expect

• Conflict resolution and de-escalation.
• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.

Basic Requirements

• 18 years of age or older.

• Must be able to remain calm and professional during stressful situations.

• All candidates must be willing to participate in the Company’s pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.
