Legacy Management Group is seeking a highly experienced Corporate Director of Maintenance & Facilities to oversee maintenance operations across our skilled nursing and long‑term care facilities in Louisiana and Texas. The role requires extensive technical knowledge, strong leadership, and the ability to evaluate building conditions, personnel, equipment performance, and overall departmental effectiveness.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years in commercial/industrial healthcare maintenance.
• Minimum 5 years in maintenance leadership or supervisory roles.
• Extensive knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical systems.
• Willingness to travel regularly across Louisiana and Texas.
• Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct operational oversight of maintenance departments across all facilities.
• Establish and enforce consistent maintenance standards and accountability.
• Evaluate maintenance directors and personnel for technical competency and leadership.
• Provide hands-on coaching, training, and professional development.
• Direct maintenance priorities and ensure timely resolutions of deficiencies.
• Participate in hiring, performance improvement, and disciplinary actions.
• Provide advanced technical guidance on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, generators, and building systems.
• Evaluate repair proposals and equipment replacement needs.
• Determine when work can be done internally vs. contracted.
• Identify opportunities to improve equipment performance and reduce costs.
