Job summary

Westlake is seeking an Environmental professional to report to the HSE Manager and provide consultative input from the Environmental Center of Excellence. This role directs and manages environmental programs across multiple sites in the Siding Trim and Windows group, delivering regulatory compliance and corrective action plans.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering with 5+ years’ environmental experience in manufacturing.
• Demonstrate technical expertise in air, water and waste regulatory compliance.
• Ability to interpret complex regulations and train site staff for compliance.
• Proven ability to lead initiatives, influence stakeholders and manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Drive development and implementation of environmental policies, standards and guidelines.
• Provide regulatory expertise and tools to facilities for compliance with location-specific laws.
• Coordinate resources to meet environmental program requirements and manage consultants.
• Perform emission, air, water and waste calculations and file regulatory reports as needed.
• Lead or participate in incident investigations and ensure training records are maintained.
