Job summary

OKBRAND Companies in Oklahoma is seeking an experienced Environmental Manager to oversee environmental compliance programs across multiple manufacturing facilities. You will coordinate reporting, inspections, and continuous improvement initiatives to ensure adherence to federal, state, and local regulations.

Reporting to the Vice President of Operations, you will manage data collection, training, incident response, and support scrubber systems and water treatment processes, serving as RSO when

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, Chemistry, Biology, or a related scientific field.
• Minimum of five (5) years of environmental compliance experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of environmental regulations and reporting requirements.
• Experience working with regulatory agencies and environmental inspections.
• Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Preferred: CHMM, 40-Hour HAZWOPER Certification, Opacity Certification, RSO experience, steel manufacturing background.

Responsibilities

• Oversee environmental data collection and compliance activities for multiple manufacturing facilities.
• Prepare, review, and submit required federal and state environmental reports, including: Tier II, RCRA, Form R (TRI), Air Emissions, Storm Water, TSCA, and GHG Reporting.
• Conduct annual reviews and updates of environmental plans and permits.
• Coordinate emissions stack testing and oversee testing activities.
• Provide technical support for scrubber systems and related environmental equipment.
• Develop environmental training materials for operations personnel.
• Serve as Radiation Safety Officer (RSO), when qualified.
• Serve as Incident Commander for emergency response activities.
• Assist during environmental inspections and regulatory audits.
• Interpret environmental regulations and implement compliance programs.
