Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Early Childhood Education coursework preferred
• Previous experience working with preschool-aged children
• Experience or interest in cooking, yoga, or sports-based programming
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Ability to lead engaging, high-energy activities while maintaining structure and safety
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)

Responsibilities

• Lead and support enrichment programs such as Kids Café, Culinary Club, Young Yogis, and Kickstart Soccer
• Plan and implement age-appropriate activities promoting creativity, teamwork, coordination, and social-emotional learning
• Ensure a safe and nurturing classroom environment at all times
• Supervise children during enrichment sessions with appropriate ratios and engagement
• Adapt activities to varying developmental levels and learning styles
• Help children develop practical life skills like following directions and problem solving
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of materials, especially in food-based programs
• Communicate positively with parents and school leadership regarding participation and progress

Position Summary

We are seeking an engaging and energetic Preschool Teacher to support our enrichment programs, including cooking, yoga, and sports-based activities. This role is responsible for creating a fun, safe, and structured environment where children can explore new skills, build confidence, and develop social-emotional growth through hands-on experiences.

Pay ranges from $16.00 to $21.50 per hour, based on experience and education. Candidates should also be comfortable traveling between nearby school campuses as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support enrichment programs such as:
  • Kids Café – guide children through hands-on cooking activities and simple recipes
  • Culinary Club – support older children in more advanced kitchen experiences
  • Young Yogis – facilitate movement, mindfulness, and storytelling activities
  • Kickstart Soccer – engage children in active, play-based soccer sessions
• Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote:

  • Cooking or food-based learning
  • Youth fitness, yoga, or movement activities
  • Sports or recreational programming
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
