Job summary

Securitas Data Center is seeking a Data Center Multi Site Security Officer – Full Time in Hillsboro, OR. You will perform access control, patrol client premises, de-escalate conflicts, and protect evidence during incidents and investigations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required, or ability to complete GED within 6 months.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Basic computer/technology skills required.
• Customer service background preferred.
• Prior security, law enforcement, or military experience is a plus.
• Willing to undergo pre-employment screening including drug test and background check.

Responsibilities

• Conflict resolution and de-escalation.
• Perform access control at security entrances / exits.
• Conduct patrols inside and outside the client's premises in various weather conditions.
• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.
• Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or any suspicious activity.
• Protect evidence or scene of incident in the event of accidents, emergencies, or security investigations.
• Set up barriers / signage and provide direction or information to others.
• Carry out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for assigned site.
