National Veterinary Associates (NVA) is seeking an experienced Associate Veterinarian to support several well-established small animal hospitals around the Pittsburgh area.
This full-time role offers variety and stability as you work with diverse teams, engaging with a wide range of cases while remaining part of one organization. You’ll join experienced clinicians and hospital teams that value collaboration and ongoing professional growth.
Do you enjoy practicing great medicine but don't necessarily want every day to look the same?
Our Multi-site Associate Veterinarian position offers the perfect balance of variety and stability. You'll support several of our well-established small animal hospitals throughout the greater Pittsburgh area while enjoying the security and benefits of full-time employment.
Instead of building your own relief schedule, chasing contracts, or managing the business side of relief work, you'll be a valued member of the NVA team—working alongside experienced veterinarians and supportive hospital teams that are excited to welcome you.
This opportunity is ideal for an experienced veterinarian who enjoys meeting new people, tackling a diverse caseload, and experiencing different practice environments while still having a "home" within one organization.
Your schedule will initially be based on the needs of these hospitals, giving you exposure to a wide variety of teams, clients, and medical cases. As our hospitals continue to grow, there may also be opportunities to transition into a more permanent role at one of these locations if that aligns with your career goals.
No two days are exactly alike. One day you may be performing surgery, the next building lasting relationships with wellness clients or helping manage urgent care cases. Across our hospitals, you'll have access to modern equipment and technology, including digital radiology, ultrasound, dentistry, surgery, rehabilitation services, in-house diagnostics, laser therapy, and more.
This position combines the flexibility and variety of relief work with the security of being a full-time employee.
That means you'll enjoy:
If you're looking for a career that offers variety, flexibility, and the chance to make a difference at several outstanding hospitals—all while enjoying the benefits of full-time employment,we'd love to connect with you.
