Job summary

AlphaBEST Education, Inc in San Ramon, CA is seeking an Area Manager to lead multiple after-school program sites and provide multi-site operational leadership focused on quality, safety, and community partnerships.

You will manage Site Directors and Group Leaders, hire and develop staff, oversee program performance, and drive growth while upholding AlphaBEST core values and a child-first approach.

Qualifications

• BA or BS in a related field
• Strong organizational and supervisory skills are required, preferably in a multi-site environment
• CPR and First Aid certified
• Must be enthusiastic, energetic, creative and sensitive to children
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work effectively with a diverse population
• Knowledge of state policies and procedures regarding child care regulations
• Proven ability to provide a supportive and caring environment for children
• Strong ability to oversee and manage multiple school locations in the district.

Responsibilities

• Set the tone for your team based on core values.
• Ensure the success of engaging programs advancing development.
• Work with peers, leadership team, staff, parents, and school admins to develop AlphaBEST's brand.
• Respond to and resolve stakeholder concerns.
• Hire and develop exceptional, diverse, high-performing staff including Site Directors and Group Leaders.
• Evaluate program safety and performance, making corrections as necessary.
• Build sustainable community partnerships with local business leaders and organizations.
• Maintain existing customer relationships and build new opportunities for growth.
• Provide a caring, family-oriented environment across your area.
