Job summary

Minutemen Staffing is seeking a Welder for multiple shifts in Kentucky. You will weld various parts across materials, read blueprints, perform inspections, and support lean manufacturing and safety programs.

Ideal candidates bring experience with FCAW/GMAW spray transfer, and welding of carbon, stainless, or high alloy steels, with a HS diploma or equivalent. Weekend/2nd shift options available.

Qualifications

• Experience welding carbon, stainless, or high alloy steels.
• Experience with FCAW and GMAW spray transfer.
• Experience welding thick to thin structural members.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and HS diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Weld various parts in different materials.
• Conduct dimensional inspections and check quality requirements.
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Collaborate with operations and Weld Engineering on projects.
• Grinding, sanding, and cutting (oxy-fuel and hand plasma).
• Adhere to lean manufacturing, quality requirements, and safety programs.
• General welding and shop duties as needed.
